Disney Characters That Start With F: Iconic Names
Disney characters from all sorts of media have brought so much joy to fans over the years. It didn’t matter if it was from a movie, series, or even a book. Disney has been there every step of the way. Of course, they also covered characters’ names from A to Z, so let’s look at some pretty cool characters starting with the letter F.
This Disney character list isn’t limited to Disney movies, there might be a couple of characters coming from some series by Disney, so if you aren’t familiar with them, you should try out their shows!
Fairy Godmother (Cinderella)
With how kind-looking she was designed, it is no surprise she’s a fan favorite among the wish-granting beings in Disney. The Fairy Godmother is a fairy that helps make the dreams of pure-hearted people, like Cinderella, come true. She can activate her magic through the words “Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo.”
Farouk (Aladdin)
Farouk is featured in Aladdin and most of the other adaptations. He is usually seen selling different types of fruits in the bazaar.
Fauna (Sleeping Beauty)
Fauna is the green-dressed fairy in Sleeping Beauty. She and three other fairies were invited to Aurora’s christening celebration. All three fairies gave a gift to baby Aurora; for Fauna, she gave the baby the gift of song.
Fayvoon (Treasure Planet)
Fayvoon is one of the crew members of John Silver, making him a supporting antagonist. Before Jim even knew of him, he was part of the crew that attacked Benbow Inn at the beginning of the movie.
Felix (Encanto)
Felix married into the Madrigal family by marrying Pepa. Since he was originally from outside of the family, he has no magical gifts, unlike the other members of his family. Unlike Agustin, a fellow in-law, Felix has a better relationship with Abuela Alma.
Fenton Q. Harcourt (Atlantis: The Lost Empire)
Mr. Fenton is Milo’s boss and doesn’t seem to believe in Milo’s theories about Atlantis. Instead, he mostly belittles Milo to discourage Milo from pursuing a myth he has no plans to fund. While his acts may seem cruel, Mr. Fenton is actually just playing it safe since he doesn’t want to waste enormous amounts of money on an expedition that may not be fruitful.
Ferb Fletcher (Phineas and Ferb)
Ferb is the British step-brother of Phineas and Candace Flynn. Ferb is usually silent and goes along with his brother’s plan. However, when he is prompted to speak, he speaks with a British accent due to him being from England.
Fidget (One Hundred and One Dalmatians)
Fidget is one of the names of the original 15 puppies from Pongo and Perdita’s litter. He looks identical to his siblings, so it’s hard to distinguish him, unlike some of the named pups. He got his name Fidget due to his need to scratch himself constantly.
Fifi (Beauty and the Beast)
Fifi is a maid and the girlfriend of Lumiere, who was among the household members who got transformed. In her cursed form, she is a feather duster.
Figaro (Pinocchio)
Figaro is a Tuxedo Cat that Geppetto owns. He was loved by fans so much that he appeared outside of Pinocchio. He became Minnie Mouse’s cat in the House of Mouse, where he and Pluto star in a few episodes.
Fiona (Tinker Bell and the Secret of the Wings)
Fiona is the pet lynx of Dewey. She and her owner would help Tink and her friends with transportation and shelter needs in the movie. She hasn’t made any other appearances in the other Tinker Bell movies.
Fix-It Felix Jr. (Wreck-it Ralph)
Fix-It Felix is an all-around good guy; he is a protagonist of his own game and would constantly help around the Nicelanders, fixing almost anything that Ralph has destroyed. However, unlike most of the Nicelanders, he is actually nice to Ralph.
Flash Slothmore (Zootopia)
Flash is a three-toed sloth who works for the Department of Mammal Vehicles. He is currently the fastest sloth working in his department, but sloths are slow in general. Prior to the film, he befriends Nick Wilde.
Flik (A Bug’s Life)
Flik is a worker ant who isn’t happy with his life. Instead of working normally, he is usually seen trying to invent things that will make things easier for his fellow hunts, although most of his inventions cause more trouble.
Flo (Cars)
Flo is a light turquoise colored Motoram ’50s Show Card who owns Flo’s V8 Café. Everyone loves her in Radiator Springs and believes the place will be dull without her.
Flounder (The Little Mermaid)
Flounder is a tropical yellow fish rather than an actual flounder. He is featured as Ariel’s scared best friend, who usually embarks with her on many adventures.
Flower (Bambi)
An unusual name for a Skunk, but Flower is a Skunk who seems to love spending his time napping in flowers. It was never confirmed or denied if Flower is this skunk’s real name. Flower is what Bambi calls him, and it seems like no other character has spoken against the given name.
Forky (Toy Story 4)
Bonnie is a handmade toy by Bonnie Anderson and quickly became her favorite toy. However, Forky insists that he’s actually trash and throws himself in trash cans constantly. Forky is made up of a plastic spork and other handcraft materials.
Foxy Loxy (Chicken Little)
Fox is a young female fox and a bully to Chicken Little and the rest of his friends. At some point in the movie, she had her brain altered by aliens, turning her into a far sweeter and kinder version of herself.
Francis (Frozen)
Francis is the other personal bodyguard of Duke Weselton. Both he and his companion have made an attempt to kill Elsa despite Elsa already fleeing the castle.
Flora (Sleeping Beauty)
Flora is the fairy who wore red during the christening of Princess Aurora. She is also the tallest of the three fairies who attended with her. Flora is the fairy that gave the princess the gift of Beauty.
Fear (Inside Out)
Fear is one of Riley Anderson’s five emotions. Aside from being afraid, he also seems to be constantly unsure of himself. As Fear, his job is to keep Riley safe, so he is continuously looking for possible dangerous activities or events that Riley should avoid.
Frank (Cars)
Despite his size, Frank is an antagonist who only plays a minor role. His personality seems to mimic that of a bull. At one point in the movie, he chases down Lightning McQueen and Mater.
Frankie (Meet the Robinsons)
Frankie is a talented frog who is able to sing in Meet the Robinsons. He is seen several times throughout Meet The Robinsons, usually singing to a musical number.
Francesca Franny Robinson (Meet the Robinsons)
She is the mother of Wilbur Robinson. As a young girl, she spends a lot of time trying to teach her frogs how to dance and sing. The movie reveals that she is successful in her endeavors as her frogs are seen being able to put on Jazz performances.
Frederick Flamarion “Fred” Frederickson IV (Big Hero 6)
Fred is a member of San Fransokyo’s superhero team Big Hero 6. At the start of the film, he is the mascot of the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, who happens to be good friends with Tadashi and his other group of science nerds. Soon he also befriends Tadashi’s younger brother Hiro.
Frida Kahlo (Coco)
Frida is a resident of the Land of the Dead and is based on a Mexican artist whom she was named after. Miguel Rivera runs into her while following Dante, who she believes is Miguel’s spirit guide. However, she takes back the statement after she witnesses Dante choke on his own foot.
Fru Fru (Zootopia)
Fru Fru is an Arctic shrew and the daughter of Mr. Big. She is first seen shopping with her friends in the movie and nearly gets crushed by a donut sign. Luckily, she is saved by Judy Hopps. Because of their first encounter, she managed to save Judy on another occasion.
Fury (Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast)
Fury is one of the scout fairies appearing in the film Tinker Bell and the Legend of the NeverBeast. Based on her onscreen appearances, she seems to be the most persistent in her unit, urging her boss to continue the mission without the team.
Faffy (Dave the Barbarian)
Faffy is a small-chubby lightning-breathing dragon that is owned by Dave. Faffy doesn’t seem to be on the smart side and can often be seen doing odd and questionable things whenever he is in focus. However, the dragon can speak English and even play cards.
Flit (Pocahontas)
Flit is a hummingbird companion of Pocahontas, along with his raccoon friend Meeko. Both of them are trusted companions of Pocahontas and follow her almost everywhere she goes.
Francis (A Bug’s Life)
Francis is a male ladybug who often gets mistaken for a female. While he was working under P.T. Flee’s Circus, several audience members would attempt to woo him; however, he ended up fighting with them on almost every occasion.
Finnick (Zootopia)
Finnick is a small fennec fox who is first seen as Nick’s partner in crime. Since fennecs look similar to young foxes, he often acts as Nick’s son.
Fish Out of Water (Chicken Little)
Fish is a goldfish who survives on land by filling his scuba helmet with water. Unlike the other character, he is not able to speak properly due to his head being submerged in water. To communicate, he relies on gurgling sounds plus body movements.
Fillmore (Cars)
Fillmore is a hippie VW minibus who owns Fillmore’s Taste-In in Radiator’s Spring. He is the area’s resident hippie and serves his customers organic fuel. However, due to his peace-loving and messy lifestyle, he often butts heads with Sarge.
Faline (Bambi)
Faline is a young doe that Bambi eventually falls in love with in the movie. In Bambi II, it is revealed that Faline has always had a crush on Bambi and had preferred his company over other male deer.
Fats (Dumbo)
Fats is one of the crows in Dumo and got his name from his roundish appearance. He seems to have a happy disposition and would laugh while holding his belly.
Fagin (Oliver and Company)
Fagin is a pickpocket who owns Dodger, Tito, Einstein, Rita, Francis, and Oliver. Despite being a thief, he isn’t a bad person. He was just forced into stealing in order to survive. He deeply loves his dogs and considers them as part of his family.
Flo (Finding Nemo)
Flo is the name of Deb’s reflection in the fish tank. Deb believes that Flo is actually her twin sister and not just a reflection. Deb seems to really depend on her sister to always put her in a good mood.
Fawn (Tinker Bell)
Fawn is an animal fairy and an extremely close friend to Tinker Bell. Among her friends, she is the most tomboyish of the bunch. However, she is also the most mother-like member of the group due to her raising several animals in the forest.
Felix (Lilo and Stitch)
Felix is another experiment created by Jumba. While he made an appearance in the original series, Lilo and Stitch never found his one true home. In the Stitch! anime, he was finally given a home and a job in a place that does recycling services.
Felicia (The Great Mouse Detective)
Felicia is a supporting antagonist in the film The Great Mouse Detective. She is an overweight, spoiled cat owned by Ratigan. Her weight might be due to the fact that Ratigan feeds her hostages and henchmen.
Fern (Tinker Bell)
Like many characters in the Tinker Bell Series, Fern is another fairy whose talent shines in the garden, making her a Garden Fairy. She is organized and pragmatic. She made her first appearance in the Tinker Bell movie series in the Pixie Hollow Games.
Fibber (Lilo and Stitch)
Fibber is an experiment created to be a living lie detector. When his victim lies, he buzzes until the victim will tell the truth. Unfortunately, it is unclear if this experiment ever found a home.
Fidget the Bat (The Great Mouse Detective)
Fidget was initially owned by Ratigan. He is a peg-legged bat that used to be his owner’s right-hand man. However, he has now reformed his ways and works for Olivia when she needs him for investigations.
Flip (Sofia the First)
Flip is one of the merboys who is close to princess Oona and lives in Merroway Cove. Flip was one of the merfolk who was excited to meet Princess Sofia. He also knows how to play the mantacorn horn and ends up playing in a band to celebrate Sofia’s visit.
Flizard (The Wuzzles)
Flizard is the half lizard and half frog sidekick of Crock. Among the 3 in the group, Flizard may be the least intelligent and even is slightly kind to the Wuzzles.
Fluke (Sofia the First)
Fluke is a merboy who was first jealous of all the attention Sofia got during her arrival. Eventually, his attitude was called out by Princess Oona, and Fluke has since toned down his behavior and helped the gang retrieve a mantacorn horn.
Francois (Kim Possible)
Francois is the hair stylist responsible for Ron’s new haircut in the episode “The New Ron.” Ron loved the haircut so much that it built a lot of confidence in how he carries himself, even during missions.
Freckles (One Hundred and One Dalmatians)
Freckles is one of the original 15 puppies shown in the movie. He got his name because some of the spots that are littered above his nose look like freckles. In the movie, fans can spot him in the scene when the family is watching Thunderbolt. Freckles is the puppy on top of Pongo’s muzzle.
