Lego’s collaborations with Nintendo have become highly anticipated events in the toy industry, merging nostalgic gaming elements with intricate builds that attract both collectors and casual fans. The excitement often peaks when new sets start to leak online ahead of any official announcements.

For months, fans have been speculating about what Lego’s next major Super Mario initiative might entail, especially after the confirmation of the brand’s first-ever Mario minifigures. A March reveal featuring a single Mario minifigure emerging from a warp pipe only heightened the curiosity about what else might be on the horizon.

Now, that curiosity has been addressed, at least unofficially, with recent leaks unveiling eight new Lego Super Mario sets expected to launch in January 2027. According to leaker Unibricks, the lineup features a diverse price range from $9.99 to $99.99, with each set reportedly including at least one minifigure.

The most affordable set is Mario’s Pipe Jump at $9.99, followed by Mario Kart: Racing with Mario at $14.99 and Mario’s Beach Adventures at $19.99. The prices continue to rise with Mario Kart: Luigi & Bowser Jr.’s Karts at $29.99, Yoshi at Mario’s House at $39.99, and Mario Kart: Bowser’s Rumbling Kart at $59.99, culminating with the largest set, Fire Mario & Bowser’s Castle, priced at $99.99.

Completing the eight-set collection is Fire Luigi vs. Koopa Troopa Battle, also priced at $29.99, providing a well-rounded selection for both casual buyers and dedicated collectors. Notably, three of the eight sets belong to the Mario Kart subtheme, indicating Lego’s significant focus on expanding that area of its Mario lineup.

Based on the character names in the set titles, fans can expect minifigures for Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, and Koopa Troopa, although characters like Peach and Toad are not explicitly mentioned in the leaked names. There is still a possibility that these characters could appear as secondary figures in some of the larger sets.

This leaked wave also aligns closely with an earlier report, as six of the eight product numbers correspond with a previous leak that provided specific piece counts for several sets. That earlier report identified the 850-piece Fire Mario & Bowser’s Castle set as the largest build in the collection, offering a notably low cost per piece compared to many of Lego’s typical licensed products.

The pricing structure has already sparked considerable excitement among fans online, especially given the high costs associated with some of Lego’s recent licensed collaborations. Unlike collections that cater primarily to premium, adult collectors, this wave seems designed to provide multiple accessible entry points alongside its higher-end offerings.

As with any unofficial leak, these details have not been confirmed by Lego or Nintendo, and set names, prices, and release dates could change before an official announcement is made. Nevertheless, with a growing number of consistent leaks pointing to the same January 2027 timeframe, anticipation is building for what could be one of Lego’s most significant Nintendo initiatives yet.
