There’s a special thrill that comes when a toy line is released months ahead of a film, especially when the sets hint at what’s to come on the big screen. This excitement is palpable for Marvel fans as they anticipate one of the year’s most awaited superhero films. The LEGO Group has unveiled a new wave of sets tied to ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, and both collectors and casual fans have much to look forward to.

Tom Holland’s Spider-Man is set to swing back into theaters on July 31, 2026, in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film features a star-studded cast including Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Michael Mando, Tramell Tillman, and Mark Ruffalo. With such a talented ensemble and a summer release date, the promotional efforts are in full swing.

The LEGO sets themselves reveal exciting details. Three new ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ sets have been announced by the LEGO Group, including two playsets and a Spider-Man Hero Figure, all available for preorder and shipping starting June 1, 2026. The hero figure set, numbered 76346, is priced at $99.99 and boasts 813 pieces, making it the largest Spider-Man buildable figure to date.

Standing over 14.5 inches tall, this posable figure features 24 points of articulation, including individually movable fingers, and comes with a nameplate and detachable webs for both the figure and an accompanying minifigure. The second set, the ‘Spider-Man Prison Transport Chase’, brings action straight from the film’s trailer. This 367-piece set includes a six-wheel transport vehicle equipped with stud shooters and an opening rear compartment that functions as a mobile prison, launching on June 1, 2026, for $49.99.

The prison transport set also hints at significant plot points. It confirms that Tombstone will appear in the movie, which fans consider a major spoiler given his status as a classic Spider-Man villain. Minifigures included in this set are Spider-Man, Tombstone, Tarantula, and a DODC guard. The third set, the most villain-rich, rounds out the collection.

Set 76350, titled ‘Spider-Man vs. Hulk Epic Clash’, retails for $89.99 and contains 534 pieces, featuring six characters including Spider-Man, Tarantula, Scorpion, Boomerang, a Hotdog Vendor, and a bigfig version of Hulk. The centerpiece is an office building with transparent posing sticks for midair action, and a trigger at the back that causes the front wall to explode, revealing the mighty Hulk. This interactive build makes the Marvel playsets genuinely enjoyable to assemble and display.

Fan reactions to these reveals have been a mix of genuine excitement and lighthearted complaints, a tradition among LEGO enthusiasts. Some collectors have praised the selection of villain minifigures, noting the detailed printed legs on characters like Tarantula, Boomerang, and Scorpion, while others expressed disappointment over the absence of Punisher and Sadie Sink’s mystery character. Regardless of opinions, these sets vividly illustrate the kinds of battles Peter Parker will face this summer.

With Tombstone, Scorpion, Boomerang, and Hulk all represented in brick form, these ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ LEGO sets are shaping up to be a collector’s dream and possibly the most spoiler-rich toy wave since the early days of the MCU. Which of the three sets are you most eager to add to your collection, and does the confirmation of Tombstone in plastic alter your excitement for the film?
