Fans of ‘Fast & Furious’ will soon have a unique way to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary. Regal and Cinemark theaters are set to unveil special collectible popcorn items tied to this milestone, including a container modeled after Dom Toretto’s iconic Dodge Charger and a large anniversary popcorn tin.

Both theater chains plan to offer these collectibles ahead of the franchise’s return to theaters on August 21. While Regal and Cinemark have yet to announce the final pricing or exact release date, both have indicated that these items will be available soon.

The standout collectible is a special container inspired by Dom’s black 1970 Dodge Charger R/T, one of the most recognizable vehicles in the ‘Fast & Furious’ series. This design honors the car that has been synonymous with Dominic Toretto since the franchise’s inception. Not only is the Charger container a display piece, but it also comes filled with popcorn, allowing fans to use it as both a snack holder and a collectible.

Another item being released is a 130-ounce popcorn tin that features numerous nods to the franchise’s history. As reported by Fantasy Land News, the design incorporates license plate details from various films in the series, including the “2JRI424” plate from the original 2001 movie, along with references to Fast X and other significant moments. The lid also showcases the branding “25 Years of Fast and Furious” with a unique hexagonal design.

The original The Fast and the Furious premiered in theaters on June 22, 2001, quickly establishing itself as one of Universal’s most successful franchises. Over the years, the series has evolved from street racing narratives to large-scale action films filled with international missions, dramatic family themes, and iconic cars.

In celebration of the anniversary, Universal has been rolling out various types of ‘Fast & Furious’ merchandise. These collectibles from Regal and Cinemark are among the first items directly linked to the franchise’s theatrical anniversary celebration. With both major theater chains carrying the products, more fans will have the opportunity to purchase them once they become available.

The collectible Charger is expected to be a major draw for longtime fans, as the car has become a symbol of the series. The franchise has consistently used the Charger as a key element of Dom’s character, making it a fitting choice for a 25th-anniversary item. The popcorn tin also includes subtle details that long-time viewers may find appealing, particularly the reference to the original film.

Fantasy Land News has indicated that both collectibles will be available at participating Regal and Cinemark locations while supplies last. The site also mentioned that it will provide updates once the theaters disclose more information regarding pricing and release dates.

As the anniversary celebration draws near, ‘Fast & Furious’ fans should keep an eye on their local theaters. These collectibles merge the franchise’s rich history with the growing trend of movie theater popcorn buckets and tins becoming essential items for collectors.
