The world is undergoing a significant transformation in payment methods, driven by the impact of cryptocurrency on how transactions are carried out. With its decentralised nature and benefits, cryptocurrencies are being embraced by industries worldwide for facilitating payments. Delve into the latest advancements in the realm of crypto payments.

Crypto payments are now accepted by automobile giant Honda

Japanese automobile giant, Honda Motor Co. has joined the crypto frenzy by embracing multiple digital assets as payment options for their products. In collaboration with blockchain payment system FCF Pay, Honda now allows their customers to lease or purchase their automobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment using over 100 crypto including:

  • Bitcoin (BTC)
  • Ethereum (ETH)
  • Ripple (XRP)
  • Shiba Inu (SHIB)
  • Binance Coin (BNB)
  • Polkadot (DOT)

Who would imagine that apart from crash crypto gambling games, you can now buy cars using crypto too? In addition to mainstream crypto, Honda has also started accepting exotic memecoins as payment options. This includes the following:

  • Pepe Coin (PEPE)
  • Floki Inu (FLOKI)
  • Bone ShibaSwap (BONE)
  • Doge Killer (LEASH)

FCF Pay has conveyed its dedication to extending the availability of this service to additional countries in the near future. The company aims to facilitate crypto payments for Honda products on a global scale, indicating its intention to broaden the reach of this innovative payment option beyond the borders of the United States.

Adding to Honda’s embrace of crypto payments, the company has also made another significant leap in the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). During the FORMULA 1 Honda & Red Bull welcome event held in Tokyo, Honda unveiled an exclusive limited edition NFT specifically for the Japanese market. This signifies their involvement and recognition in the world of digital collectables.
