Jessie Cave Reveals Surprising OnlyFans Income After ‘Harry Potter’
Jessie Cave has discovered an unexpected financial windfall after years in the acting industry. The ‘Harry Potter’ star shares that her experience on OnlyFans has generated more income than her entire acting career combined.
Cave, known for her role as Lavender Brown in the last three ‘Harry Potter’ films, joined the platform in 2025. Initially, she viewed it as a temporary solution to earn some extra cash while contemplating her next steps. However, it quickly evolved into a significant source of income.
In a recent interview with The Times, Cave disclosed how dramatically the platform has altered her financial situation. “I’ve earned more, easily, than my entire acting career within one year,” she stated.
Cave charges her subscribers $6 a month for access to her content, with additional earnings possible through paid messages. At one point, she reported making £15,000, or about $20,000, in just one day.
The actress mentioned that she never anticipated the arrangement would last this long. Initially, she thought she might earn a few thousand pounds and move on.
“I thought I’d make five grand, be on it for a few months and it would buy me time to work out what we’re going to do,” Cave explained. “But it’s now been over a year and a half and it’s genuinely saved our lives.”
Cave noted that financial strain significantly influenced her decision. As a mother of four, she reached a point where she felt limited in her options after struggling to secure acting roles.
She also pointed out that traditional jobs posed challenges due to childcare costs and her public persona.
“I couldn’t go and, say, work in a supermarket because I can’t afford the childcare, and also I don’t want people shouting Harry Potter spells at me as I work at Tesco,” she remarked.
Cave’s OnlyFans page is different from what many might assume. She focuses on non-explicit content that highlights her long hair and caters to a niche audience. Often, she remains fully clothed and occasionally incorporates costumes or themed outfits.
“My rule is the hair is the main character,” she explained. “That’s how I justify it. It’s literally about hair: the texture of hair. The fetish. It’s very, very niche.”
Cave also acknowledged the stigma associated with joining the platform, as OnlyFans is often linked to adult content.
“There is a stigma,” she admitted. “I didn’t really understand the risk of people thinking I’m doing porn.”
Nonetheless, Cave feels that the platform has provided her with something she had been missing. After having four children and feeling overlooked for years, she stated that the attention was part of its appeal.
“For so long I’ve just been this quirky figure. After having four kids and feeling invisible for so long that was really appealing to me.”
For Cave, what began as a temporary financial strategy has transformed into one of the most lucrative phases of her career.
