Few shows have sparked as much debate as Ryan Murphy’s legal drama. While critics have been harsh, viewers have continued to tune in, ensuring the conversation around it remains lively. This kind of buzz is precisely what a series centered on scandals, secrets, and stilettos aims to create.

The first season premiered on Hulu on November 4, 2025, quickly evolving into a guilty pleasure and a streaming sensation. It garnered 3.2 million views within its first three days, making it Hulu’s most-watched scripted series debut in three years. Despite a dismal 3% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences rated it at 66%.

Now, the ‘All’s Fair’ Season 2 trailer has dropped, teasing even more drama. The 2 minute 9 second preview, released on October 7, confirms the series will return on Wednesday, November 4, with a three-episode premiere on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+, as well as on Disney+ internationally. Following that, new episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays.

The trailer from Hulu emphasizes themes of vengeance, adopting a tone reminiscent of a high-gloss soap opera rather than a courtroom drama. A striking image features Kim Kardashian’s Allura Grant adorned in a hooded black cape embellished with a shimmering gold scorpion, set against deep red curtains. This theatrical flair is characteristic of a show unafraid of drama.

The official logline hints that the lawyers of Grant, Ronson & Greene are back for another season filled with scandals, secrets, and stilettos. As new alliances form and friendships are tested, a shocking revelation threatens the very foundation of the firm. In essence, the firm’s greatest adversary may be lurking within.

Season 1 concluded in December 2025 with Dina Standish, portrayed by Glenn Close, being taken away in handcuffs, charged with the murder of the man who assaulted Emerald, played by Niecy Nash-Betts, at a club. According to TVLine, the handcuffs are absent in the new trailer, while Sarah Paulson’s Carrington “Carr” Lane continues her quest to undermine the firm from within.

This rivalry has been a focal point of the show’s discussions. In the first season’s marketing, Paulson’s character taking on Kardashian’s character’s husband as a client suggested that the drama would extend far beyond the courtroom. It appears that Season 2 is set to escalate those stakes.

Kardashian stars as Allura and also serves as an executive producer. She is joined by Naomi Watts as Liberty Ronson, Nash-Betts as Emerald Greene, Teyana Taylor as Milan, Paulson as Carr, Matthew Noszka as Chase Munroe, and Close as Dina. The cast also features new series regular Cauã Reymond, who plays a bodyguard.

Behind the scenes, the show is helmed by Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken. It is produced by 20th Television in collaboration with Ryan Murphy Television, with executive producers including Kris Jenner, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, and Anthony Hemingway. This series marks Kardashian’s second leading role on TV after ‘American Horror Story: Delicate.’

The marketing strategy has always been a significant part of the show’s charm. The first season’s trailer became Hulu’s most successful ever, racking up 57.3 million views across YouTube and social media within its first 24 hours, surpassing the 47.2 million views for the third season of ‘The Kardashians.’

Kardashian herself has embraced the buzz, humorously stating on Instagram right after the premiere that the series was the most critically acclaimed show of the year. Despite some critics labeling her performance as stiff, the renewal came within weeks. Filming for Season 2 began in spring 2026, and the cast appears ready to intensify the competition.

Whether you watch for the campy fun or to see what unfolds next, the show has demonstrated that being a topic of conversation is a form of success in itself. The new trailer indicates that the second season will continue to satisfy that craving, with an added edge.
