According to an exclusive from Deadline, Kylie Jenner is set to star and executive produce ‘Bachelorette Weekend’ (working title), a thriller drama that is finalizing a straight-to-series order at Hulu. This marks her first significant scripted acting role, and the announcement quickly gained traction, with one post on X garnering nearly 300,000 views.

The series revolves around a bachelorette weekend that takes a deadly turn. Jenner portrays the bride, who is found murdered in the pool, with her closest friends becoming the prime suspects. Jenner, Kardashian, Oliver, and Aaron Kaplan will serve as executive producers, with Jaiden Kaplan as co-executive producer. The series is a collaboration between Kapital Entertainment, 20th Television, and Hulu, further expanding Kapital’s Hulu slate, which already includes ‘You Deserve to Know’ featuring Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, and ‘What Remains’ with Kerry Washington.

Previously, Jenner made a brief appearance in Charli XCX’s mockumentary ‘The Moment,’ released in January. ‘Bachelorette Weekend’ represents a significant leap, positioning her as the lead of a full series. She also mentioned to Vanity Fair in March her desire to pursue more acting opportunities after reviewing several scripts that didn’t resonate with her.

This context suggests that this project is a thoughtful choice rather than a hasty pivot. A mystery-thriller offers her a dramatic role central to the plot while allowing her character to be perceived through the perspectives of others.
