Meet the Cast of Apple TV’s ‘Matchbox: The Movie’ with Pictures

Directed by Sam Hargrave and penned by David Coggeshall, Apple TV’s upcoming action-comedy film ‘Matchbox: The Movie‘ brings the beloved Mattel toy vehicle brand to life on the big screen. The story follows former soldier Sean Walker, who reconnects with childhood friends only to find himself framed for the theft of a missing nuclear warhead.

To clear their names, the group must unite to reclaim the weapon from the true perpetrators. Set to premiere on October 9, 2026, this film features a star-studded ensemble of well-known film and television actors.

John Cena

John Cena takes the lead as Sean Walker, a former soldier and spy embroiled in a national security crisis. Cena has successfully transitioned from a record-setting career in professional wrestling to major Hollywood films.
