Netflix Confirms ‘Call My Agent!’ Movie Release Date for September 2026
After years of anticipation and updates, Netflix has officially announced that the much-awaited Call My Agent! film is on its way. This movie, based on the beloved French series also known as Dix pour cent, is set to premiere in September, featuring much of the original cast in a new storyline.
The confirmation came during a recent promotional event in Cannes, where cast members gathered for a photocall and participated in a TV interview on France Télévisions’ C à Vous. According to a report from Variety, the event showcased new filmed material that will be included in the upcoming movie. Shortly after, Netflix released a brief preview scene featuring Camille Cottin as Andréa Martel and Laure Calamy as Noémie Leclerc. The platform has confirmed a global release date of September 10, 2026.
This project has been in the works for several years. Earlier in 2025, Netflix France teased the film, and by December 2025, official social media accounts announced that filming had concluded. The majority of production took place in Paris and its surrounding areas. Netflix has now included the movie in its 2026 lineup, demonstrating strong support for the return of one of its most successful French series.
The film will also feature some unexpected guest appearances. Reports indicate that George Clooney and Eva Longoria will both have roles in the movie. In an interview with Variety, writer Fanny Herrero shared how Clooney’s involvement came to be, stating, “At one point, we thought we’re making the Call My Agent! movie, so let’s go all out!” She noted that Clooney agreed to film his scenes in just one day and at a single location. Regarding Eva Longoria’s role, Herrero mentioned that her participation ties into broader discussions about international adaptations of the series and her work as a producer.
The official storyline picks up years after the original series concluded. The agency has closed down, and Andréa is now attempting to direct her first film. However, things quickly spiral out of control when her lead actor departs, causing her production to falter. In her desperation, she turns to Noémie, who now works in reality television, hoping she can manage the situation. But as more challenges arise, old colleagues return, and tensions escalate in unforeseen ways.
The original series debuted in 2015 and rapidly became a global sensation after Netflix acquired international rights. It significantly boosted the careers of its cast, particularly Camille Cottin, and became renowned for its sharp humor and behind-the-scenes perspective on the film industry. Over time, it has also inspired several international remakes in countries such as India, Italy, and South Korea.

Reflecting on the series’ return, creator Fanny Herrero expressed, “They are so inspiring, I love them all.” She also mentioned in another interview with Variety that the story might not mark the end of the franchise, saying, “No one’s in prison, they haven’t stopped at all. Anything is possible.”
With most of the original cast returning, a familiar creative team, and growing global interest, the Call My Agent! movie is poised to become one of Netflix’s most significant international releases in 2026.
