Marvel enthusiasts are buzzing about Avengers: Doomsday once again, as fresh rumors suggest the first trailer could be released sooner than anticipated. This speculation gained momentum following increased online activity and social media posts hinting at a surprise reveal linked to an upcoming event.

Reports from various social media platforms indicate that Donald Mustard, the former creative director of Fortnite and now part of AGBO, the Russo brothers’ production company, shared insights about an event taking place in London.

In his post, Mustard noted that the event would kick off at 10 a.m. local time, but what really piqued interest was a mention of a “surprise at 2 p.m.” While he didn’t elaborate on what the surprise would entail, fans quickly began associating it with Avengers: Doomsday.

Simultaneously, fan accounts have circulated what appear to be screenshots from international Marvel social media pages, including Marvel Korea, Marvel India, and Marvel Singapore. These posts imply that a video is currently concealed on YouTube, further fueling speculation that something related to the film may be on the verge of release.

The timing of these developments is particularly noteworthy as Avengers: Doomsday directors Joe and Anthony Russo are slated to appear at SXSW London 2026. Donald Mustard is also expected to be present at the same event as part of AGBO. With several key figures associated with the film gathered in one location, fans believe this heightens the likelihood of a significant announcement.

This isn’t the first instance of the Russo brothers hinting at something related to the project. Recently, they shared an image featuring only a single shade of green.

Initially, it seemed like a random post, but later speculation connected the color to Latveria, the fictional nation ruled by Doctor Doom in Marvel Comics. Additionally, some fans noted symbols associated with Doctor Doom appearing in related teaser activities, leading to even more theories regarding the film’s direction and marketing.

However, not all fans are convinced that the trailer will debut during this event. Some speculate that Marvel might reserve the first major reveal for a larger venue, such as San Diego Comic-Con, renowned for significant announcements and exclusive footage unveilings. Others believe Marvel could prioritize Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is anticipated to release new promotional content ahead of Avengers: Doomsday.

At this moment, Marvel Studios has yet to issue any official confirmation regarding a trailer or surprise release. All discussions remain speculative, relying on social media hints and the timing of upcoming events.

Even without official confirmation, anticipation continues to grow. Whether the surprise turns out to be a full trailer, a brief teaser, or something else entirely related to Doctor Doom, fans are clearly expecting something significant to arrive soon for Avengers: Doomsday.
