New ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Poster Hints at Hulk as Villain
A new ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ poster is creating buzz online after being spotted in a U.S. retail store, strongly hinting at an epic showdown between Spider-Man and the Hulk.
This film, a collaboration between Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures, is also referred to as ‘Spider-Man 4’ and is set to hit U.S. theaters in the summer of 2026. Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker, continuing his journey within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’ and the upcoming ‘Wonder Man’ series, the cast features both returning and new actors. Alongside Holland, Zendaya returns as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk. The cast also includes Jon Bernthal as the Punisher, Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando as Scorpion, and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.
The newly revealed poster was reportedly seen at a Meijer store in the Midwest. The image depicts Spider-Man and the Hulk poised for battle, indicating a significant conflict between the two characters in the upcoming film.
Fans quickly shared the sighting online, including a post from @SpiderMan_Newz, which went viral across social media. Many are now speculating about what this confrontation means for the storyline and whether the Hulk will emerge as a true enemy or play a more complex role.
According to the official synopsis for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’, the story unfolds four years after the events of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’. Peter Parker is now living in isolation after choosing to erase his identity from the memories of those closest to him. Alone, he continues his fight against crime in New York City as Spider-Man.
The synopsis reveals that Peter is fully dedicated to his role as a hero, but the pressures of his new life begin to take a toll on him in unforeseen ways. It also hints at potential changes in his body as he confronts stronger threats than ever before. Meanwhile, a new wave of crime emerges in the city, leading to one of his most perilous challenges yet.
The official description states, “After the record-breaking global success of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of ‘No Way Home’, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves.”
It continues, “Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city – a full-time Spider-Man – but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.”
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is set to premiere in theaters on July 31, as confirmed by Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures.
