[New Teaser] ‘Nautilus’ Set to Premiere on AMC: Captain Nemo’s Quest for Revenge Starts June 29

AMC is set to premiere its exciting new adventure series Nautilus on June 29, 2025, and fans can expect an action-packed journey beneath the waves. The show, inspired by Jules Verne’s classic 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, brings to life the story of Captain Nemo, a character driven by revenge and survival.
In Nautilus, Shazad Latif (Black Mirror) stars as Captain Nemo, an Indian Prince whose family and birthright were taken from him. Imprisoned by the East India Mercantile Company, Nemo embarks on a mission to steal a prototype submarine and escape with a group of fellow prisoners.
His goal is to find the legendary Viking treasure buried at the Pillars of Halvar. Along the way, he must win the trust of his new crew while avoiding the dangerous East India Mercantile Company, which will stop at nothing to capture him.
The series also features Georgia Flood, Céline Menville, and Thierry Fremont, with notable guest appearances from Richard E. Grant, Anna Torv, and Noah Taylor.
Originally developed as a Disney+ series, Nautilus was shelved in 2023 due to cost-cutting measures. However, AMC stepped in and rescued the project, bringing it to life with the premiere set for June 29. The series began streaming on Prime Video in the UK and Ireland in October 2023.
The show is produced by Moonriver TV’s Xavier Marchand and Seven Stories’ Anand Tucker, with Nautilus written and executive produced by James Dormer. The executive producers also include Johanna Devereaux, Chris Loveall, Colleen Woodcock, and Daisy Gilbert.
