‘Paris Is Always a Good Idea’ Episode 4 Release Date: Chelsea’s Journey Continues
Hallmark’s inaugural limited series is charming romance enthusiasts with its adventurous storyline, and fans are eagerly anticipating the next chapter in Chelsea Martin’s exploration of her past relationships. Featuring Lacey Chabert in her first television series role in quite some time, the show transports viewers from Paris to Ireland and beyond as its protagonist retraces her old paths in search of clarity regarding her future.
Based on Jenn McKinlay’s bestselling novel, this six-episode series follows Chelsea, a dedicated nonprofit executive portrayed by Chabert. What begins as a business trip to secure a significant donor evolves into an unexpected personal journey. Accompanied by her professional rival turned travel partner, Jason Knightley, played by Scott Michael Foster, Chelsea reconnects with the loves she left behind across Europe.
‘Paris Is Always a Good Idea‘ Episode 4 is set to premiere on Thursday, August 13, 2026, exclusively on Hallmark+, continuing the show’s weekly Thursday release schedule that commenced after the initial two episodes were released together on premiere day. According to the streaming platform’s episode guide, this episode sees Chelsea revisiting key relationships from her past, discovering that each reunion reshapes her perspective on her future.
The season has maintained a consistent rollout since its launch in late July, debuting the first two episodes together before transitioning to single weekly releases. Episode 3 aired on August 6, furthering Chelsea’s exploration across Europe as she gets closer to understanding the choices that have influenced her past, with new encounters heightening both the romantic and emotional stakes of her journey.
The series is structured around Chelsea’s travels, with each destination serving as a unique chapter in her personal narrative. Episode 2, titled “Colin, Revisited,” took her to Ireland in search of a sheep farmer from her past, accompanied by her sister Annabelle, while Jason grows increasingly intrigued by Chelsea’s emotional quest.
Filmed across picturesque locations in Paris, Ireland, and Spain, the production heavily emphasizes its stunning European backdrops as a vital element of the storytelling, following Chelsea from the lush hills of Ireland to sun-drenched vineyards as she navigates unresolved issues with former flames. Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming at Hallmark Media, expressed excitement about Chelsea’s journey of self-discovery, stating, “We can’t wait for viewers to come along on Chelsea’s journey of self-discovery, healing, and, of course, unforgettable romance.”
As Episode 4 marks the midpoint of the six-episode series, two installments remain before the story concludes. Episode 5 is slated to premiere on August 20, followed by the season finale on August 27, wrapping up Chelsea’s journey just under a month after it first began streaming.
The supporting cast includes Rebecca Hanssen as Chelsea’s sister Annabelle, alongside Henry Czerny, Barbara Niven, Stephen Hagan, and Julie Berman, who enrich the narrative with exes and family members that Chelsea encounters along her path. As the season progresses, it becomes increasingly clear that Chelsea’s decision between her past and present will become more challenging with each reunion.
