‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ Season 7 Trailer Reveals Mary’s Heartfelt Journey and Angie’s Marriage Struggles

The women of Salt Lake City are gearing up for another intense season, with the latest episodes promising to showcase a more emotional side of the franchise. Bravo has unveiled the first trailer for season 7 of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’, hinting at tough conversations, relationship challenges, and a poignant chapter for Mary Cosby.

Bravo has confirmed that season 7 will premiere on Wednesday, September 16, featuring a supersized episode at 8 p.m. The announcement also included a sneak peek of what fans can expect, bringing back the full cast from season 6.

Returning this season are Lisa Barlow, Mary Cosby, Heather Gay, Angie Katsanevas, Meredith Marks, Bronwyn Newport, and Whitney Rose. Britani Bateman will return as a friend of the group, while Ashley Quai joins the cast in the same role.

One of the most significant storylines this season will center around Mary Cosby and the tragic loss of her son, Robert Cosby Jr. Production was temporarily halted following his passing, with filming resuming as Mary and her family navigated through their grief.

Robert Cosby Jr. had appeared on the show alongside Mary and had previously discussed his struggles with substance abuse during season 5. In a candid conversation with Mary, he opened up about his experiences with substances such as Xanax, acid, Molly, and cocaine.

According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, police responded to an overdose call involving Robert Cosby Jr. on February 23, which later turned into a death investigation.

In the season 7 trailer, Mary shares the support she received from her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., who has returned to filming after a long absence from the spotlight. Reflecting on their relationship, Mary expresses, “You’ve been my strength, my side piece… I’m so blessed and thankful I can go through this with Robert Sr.”

She also conveys her gratitude to the rest of the cast, stating, “I could not have got through without you guys. You all was there for me.”

In addition to Mary’s emotional journey, the new season will delve into significant changes in the relationships of Angie Katsanevas and Whitney Rose. Both women have recently faced challenges in their marriages, and the trailer offers a glimpse into those trying moments.

Angie’s husband, Shawn Trujillo, appears to discuss the potential for separation and its impact on their family. In the trailer, he remarks, “The most important person here is [our daughter] Elektra. If we choose to go our separate ways, that will crush her.” Angie is shown becoming emotional during this conversation.

Whitney Rose is also expected to confront difficulties in her personal life as the season explores changes within her marriage.

Season 7 follows a dramatic previous season and promises to deliver some of the franchise’s most personal stories yet. While ‘RHOSLC’ has always been known for its friendships, conflicts, and shocking moments, the new episodes seem to focus more on themes of grief, family, and significant life choices.

New episodes of ‘The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ season 7 will air Wednesdays on Bravo and will be available for streaming the following day on Peacock.
