Few things make a celebrity outing more exciting than spotting two busy stars off duty. This week, Samara Weaving’s dinner outing in London provided just that—a relaxed evening in a city where she has been spending time.

It was the kind of night that didn’t require a red carpet to spark conversation. The outfits spoke for themselves.

Weaving has been having an eventful year. The Australian actress, often hailed as a modern scream queen after her role in ‘Ready or Not’ in 2019, is set to star in ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ in 2026. Her recent projects also include ‘Carolina Caroline’, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, and ‘Over Your Dead Body’.

She has also been linked to a significant superhero role, with reports indicating she has been cast as Emma Frost in Marvel’s ‘X-Men’ reboot. On the personal front, she and her husband, writer-director Jimmy Warden, welcomed their first child earlier this year, with Weaving spotted in Los Angeles in late May.

Recently, Weaving was seen dining in London with Olivia Wilde and a group of friends. Photos from the evening captured the pair leaving the restaurant after dark, each showcasing her unique take on autumn fashion in London.

Weaving donned a long black leather coat with a fur-trimmed collar over a striped top, complemented by black wide-leg trousers. She added a vibrant touch with a yellow box-style handbag, which popped against the dark street and her otherwise moody ensemble.

Wilde opted for a more relaxed yet polished look. She wore a long grey herringbone coat over a dark top, paired with light-wash jeans and boots, carrying a tan leather bag tucked under her arm.

The contrast between their styles was appealing. One look was sleek and glamorous, while the other was casual and tailored, both perfectly suited for the cool October evening in London.

Wilde has much to celebrate as well. She directed and stars in ‘The Invite’, a dinner-party comedy-drama featuring Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz, and Edward Norton. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 24, 2026, receiving positive reviews and opened in the United States on June 26, 2026.

A special London screening of ‘The Invite’ recently took place, attended by Greta Gerwig and Rashida Jones, who co-wrote the film. Wilde is also set to star alongside Pedro Pascal in Tony Gilroy’s upcoming film, ‘Behemoth!’, at Searchlight, and appears in ‘I Want Your Sex’, directed by Gregg Araki.

Weaving and Warden met on the set of ‘The Babysitter’, where she played the lead role of Bee and he worked as a writer and producer. They kept their relationship private for a while, and she later confirmed in an interview that they were married.

Warden directed ‘Borderline’, a horror-comedy released in 2025 that featured Weaving. The couple has mentioned they try not to be apart for more than two and a half to three weeks when their work takes them in different directions.

Part of the allure is their rarity. Both actresses are engaged in demanding projects, and candid photos like these offer fans a fresh perspective on their style.

Weaving’s combination of black leather and a bright accessory serves as a reminder of how a single bold detail can elevate a dark outfit. Wilde’s tailored coat and jeans ensemble illustrates that relaxed dressing can still appear polished.

With Weaving’s career on the rise and Wilde balancing directing and acting, it’s understandable they would seek an evening off. What did you think of Samara Weaving’s black leather and yellow clutch look in London? Who wore it better, Samara or Olivia? Share your thoughts in the comments.
