She-Ra’s Live-Action Debut in ‘Masters of the Universe’ Post-Credits Scene Revealed
A significant surprise from Masters of the Universe has been unveiled, with the character She-Ra making an appearance in the film’s post-credits scene. This revelation came ahead of the movie’s wide release, and while some early spoilers have circulated online, this confirmation comes directly from the actress involved.
Lauren Saliu, who portrays She-Ra in the new film directed by Travis Knight, shared her excitement on social media. In her post, she confirmed her role and provided fans with a closer look at the costume worn in the scene, which is only briefly shown in the final cut and primarily from behind. She also shared behind-the-scenes photos from her time on set.
In her own words, she expressed, “I’m excited to finally share that I appear as She-Ra in the post credit scene in @mastersmovie 🔥” She added, “So grateful and had so much fun embodying She-Ra the Princess of Power ❤️🔥🦄🗡️” and described the process of bringing the character to life, stating, “It was back and forth fittings and 3D scans getting the outfit made to my exact measurements 🥹 the craftsmanship and detail is incredible 👏🏼”
The inclusion of She-Ra in the film has been a subject of speculation for some time. Before the release, director Travis Knight refrained from confirming too many details about the character’s role. In interviews, he explained that She-Ra has always been a significant part of the broader Masters universe, but the film primarily focuses on Prince Adam’s story.
He stated in an earlier interview, “I can say very little about She-Ra. For me, She-Ra has always been a big part of the Masters world and a big part of Adam’s story. In the fullness of time, if we’re lucky to tell more stories in this universe, She-Ra will play a huge part.”
Knight also hinted that the character may have originally had a more substantial role in earlier drafts of the film. He mentioned that some scenes were cut during editing, indicating that additional material featuring She-Ra could exist but was ultimately excluded from the final version.
