‘Sister Imperator’ #3 Preview: The Titular Heroine Must Be Ready for Some Difficult Choices

Ghost is undoubtedly one of the most popular Swedish bands globally, but did you know that frontman Tobias Forge, who goes by the name Papa Emeritus while on stage, is also a comic book artist and is exploring the “world of Ghost” in comics?

Well, Dark Horse Comics is currently publishing an imprint story “from the world of Ghost”, Sister Imperator, and we are happy to announce that we have some information about the upcoming issue.

Sister Imperator #3 is coming out on May 14, 2025 and Dark Horse Comics has luckily provided us with the first preview images, which we are going to show you in this report.

Tobias Forge of Ghost is, of course, the artist on this issue, which is once again written by Corinna Bechko, and the story will take us down a path of vengeance and introspection as Sister Imperator prepares to make some difficult choices. Here is what the official synopsis confirms:

Haunted by her past and impassioned by the crimes of her estranged family, Sister Imperator embarks on a new path of justice for those hurt by men like her stepfather.
