The look was a hit, with one outlet noting that the swimsuit echoed those worn by the legendary ’90s ‘Baywatch’ stars. Sweeney shared her vacation moments with her 25.9 million Instagram followers, who have been showering her with praise.
This getaway was far from a lazy beach retreat. Sweeney spent much of her time enjoying water activities, with her Instagram carousel featuring boat rides and yacht time with Braun and friends. Reports indicate she showcased her wakeboarding skills, even posting a video of herself wakeboarding with a friend on her back.
Braun also shared footage of Sweeney wakeboarding during the same trip. Their adventurous spirit has been a theme in their travels, as their New Zealand trip included archery in the snow, a helicopter photo, and a nighttime jump into the water.
The couple’s relationship has steadily moved into the spotlight. Sweeney made things Instagram official in May 2026 by posting a photo with Braun, and he was by her side at the premiere of ‘Euphoria’ season 3 in April. By December of last year, a source told People that the couple was in a committed relationship and things were getting serious.
Recently, they made their Venice Film Festival debut together in September, nearly a year after their relationship was first confirmed. They were seen taking a boat through the city’s canals, although Sweeney did not have any films featured at the festival this year.
