‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ Star Jeremy Allen White Goes Shirtless on L.A. Hike
Jeremy Allen White is making the most of his time outdoors while balancing a busy year in film and television.
The 35-year-old Emmy-winning actor was seen enjoying a morning hike in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 2. He opted for a shirtless look as he navigated the warm trails, carrying his shirt in hand. Accompanying him was his former ‘Shameless’ co-star Shanola Hampton, and the two appeared to be in great spirits during their hike.
Recently, Jeremy Allen White has garnered attention for both his impressive physical transformation and his expanding list of significant projects in Hollywood. His appearance on the hike quickly caught the eye of fans online, adding to the buzz surrounding his career.
One of his notable roles is in the latest installment of the Star Wars franchise, ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’, where he lends his voice to Rotta the Hutt. Although his performance is voice-only and not immediately recognizable, it marks an exciting entry into a major franchise. In previous interviews, White expressed his desire to take on new challenges and participate in projects that his children could enjoy.
‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ expands the broader Star Wars narrative and features several beloved characters from the franchise. White’s participation adds another prestigious credit to his burgeoning film career.
Meanwhile, White’s acclaimed FX series ‘The Bear’ is approaching its conclusion. It has been confirmed that the forthcoming fifth season will be the show’s last. FX also announced that Season 5 will premiere on June 25, with all eight episodes available at once on Hulu, rather than being released weekly or in parts.
‘The Bear’ has emerged as one of the most discussed shows in recent years, with White’s portrayal of Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto earning him critical acclaim and award nominations. The final season is anticipated to provide a conclusive wrap-up of the restaurant’s story and its characters.
In addition to his television work, White is actively advancing his film career. In 2025, he will portray Bruce Springsteen in ‘Deliver Me from Nowhere’, a biographical film directed by Scott Cooper. The movie centers on Springsteen’s creative journey while producing his 1982 album ‘Nebraska’.
For this role, White trained with vocal coaches and learned to play guitar using an instrument associated with Springsteen himself. He later described the experience as emotionally intense, emphasizing that it was not a light or easy process and required him to maintain a serious mindset throughout filming.
Looking ahead, White is set to feature in several upcoming projects. He will portray journalist Jeff Horwitz in ‘The Social Reckoning’, the sequel to ‘The Social Network’ directed by Aaron Sorkin. Additionally, he will co-star with Austin Butler in the thriller ‘Enemies’, produced by A24. Another project, ‘Chomper Chest’, is also in development with White attached to star.
With his diverse work across television, biopics, voice acting, and major studio films, Jeremy Allen White continues to navigate various genres while maintaining a strong presence in both streaming and theatrical releases.
