‘The Punisher: One Last Kill’ Reveals Exciting New Image
A fresh image from ‘The Punisher: One Last Kill’ has been unveiled, offering fans an early glimpse of the anticipated Marvel project. This image was shared by ScreenRant as part of the latest update on the special.
The project is being developed for Disney+ and is integrated into the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is designed as a special presentation within the MCU timeline. Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, the script is co-written by Green and Jon Bernthal.
Jon Bernthal reprises his role as Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher. The character was last seen in the series ‘The Punisher’ and later in ‘Daredevil: Born Again’. This new special continues his journey following those appearances.
The narrative centers on Frank Castle as he attempts to distance himself from violence and lead a more peaceful life. However, his quest for tranquility is short-lived, as he finds himself drawn back into a perilous situation that compels him to confront his past once more.

Jason R. Moore also returns as Curtis Hoyle, a close ally of Castle. The cast features several other characters tied to Castle’s history, including members of his former military unit and new figures introduced for the storyline.
Production on the special commenced in New York City in mid-2025 and concluded shortly thereafter. The concept for the project emerged during the development of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’, before being officially confirmed by Marvel Studios in 2025. The title and release date were subsequently announced in 2026.
‘The Punisher: One Last Kill’ is set to premiere on May 12, and will be part of Phase Six of the MCU.
This project holds significant promise as it delves into a more personal aspect of Frank Castle while maintaining the action and intensity that fans anticipate. Jon Bernthal’s return adds considerable depth to the story. What are your thoughts on this new Punisher special? Share your opinions in the comments.
