‘The White Lotus’ Season 4 Cast Visits Disneyland Paris While Filming
The cast of HBO’s acclaimed series ‘The White Lotus’ is currently in France filming the much-anticipated fourth season. Recently, they took a break from their luxurious hotel accommodations to enjoy a unique vacation experience.
As reported by Variety, season 4 cast members Laura Dern, AJ Michalka, and Marissa Long were seen at Disneyland Paris while production was ongoing nearby. The actors appeared to be enjoying some downtime and were photographed with a Minnie Mouse character near the park’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle.
They were accompanied by other members of the production team, making for a fun diversion from the demanding schedule of a major television series. Minnie Mouse sported a special outfit featuring a salmon-colored dress, a Breton-style striped design, and an Eiffel Tower-inspired accessory, perfectly fitting the Parisian theme of their visit.
The fourth season of ‘The White Lotus’ is being filmed across various locations in France, including Paris and the French Riviera. Variety has reported that the cast has been shooting scenes at the renowned Hôtel Lutetia in Paris, along with scenes at the Bry-sur-Marne studios just outside the city.
The production is also utilizing some of France’s most recognizable landmarks. The upcoming season will feature filming at the Hôtel Martinez in Cannes, the Château de la Messardière in Saint-Tropez, as well as locations in Monaco and Nice. These settings are expected to contribute to the luxurious atmosphere that has become synonymous with the show.
Season 4 will shift its narrative to the realm of French cinema, with new episodes reportedly centering on rival filmmaking teams vying for a prestigious award during the Cannes Film Festival. Variety previously noted that the fictional White Lotus resort will be tied to the Cannes backdrop, with the Hôtel Martinez serving as the White Lotus Cannes location and Château de la Messardière representing the White Lotus du Cap.
Laura Dern has joined the cast, stepping in for Helena Bonham Carter early in production. Reports suggest that Dern will portray a former star attempting to revive her career. She has also been seen around France during filming, including appearances at the Roland-Garros, the French Open tennis tournament.
The new season has already attracted a star-studded lineup. In addition to Dern, the cast features AJ Michalka, Marissa Long, Ben Kingsley, Max Greenfield, and Vincent Cassel. However, Kingsley, Greenfield, and Cassel were not present during the Disneyland Paris outing.
While Disneyland Paris is unlikely to be featured in the series, the visit allowed the cast to enjoy another famous luxury destination while working on a show centered around lavish vacations and upscale resorts.
‘The White Lotus’ has gained a reputation for blending stunning locations with dark comedy, mystery, and drama. Following successful seasons set in Hawaii, Italy, and Thailand, the transition to France promises another visually captivating backdrop filled with affluent guests, complex relationships, and the secrets that typically accompany them.
HBO has yet to announce an official release date for season 4, but filming is expected to continue throughout the year as the cast wraps up production across France.
