According to production details shared in the announcement, the series aims to merge grounded storytelling with impressive visual effects, utilizing practical sets and modern CGI to create a more intense and realistic atmosphere. The VFX is managed by Shirogumi, the award-winning team recognized for their work on ‘Godzilla Minus One.’

The narrative is penned and executive produced by Yeon Sang-ho, known for acclaimed works like ‘Train to Busan,’ ‘Hellbound,’ and ‘Parasyte: The Grey.’ Direction is helmed by Shinzo Katayama, who has experience in darker, character-driven dramas such as ‘Gannibal.’ The creative team emphasizes that this series is a fresh interpretation rather than a direct remake, expanding the original concept into a modern thriller.
