‘Tulsa King’ Season 4: Release Date, Cast, Teaser, Plot Details, and More
Sylvester Stallone has been showcasing that gritty crime dramas can captivate audiences just as much on television as they do in theaters. His portrayal of an Oklahoma mob boss has emerged as one of the standout performances of his career. As Paramount+’s flagship crime series gears up for its return, fans are finally getting a glimpse into the next chapter of Dwight Manfredi’s journey.
Anticipation has been mounting since the explosive finale of Season 3 last November, which left Dwight’s fate uncertain after a fiery confrontation with rival Jeremiah Dunmire. With the series proving to be a consistent success for the streamer, Paramount+ quickly confirmed its return, and now fans can look forward to more concrete details.
Paramount+ has officially announced that ‘Tulsa King’ Season 4 will premiere on Friday, October 16, with new episodes releasing weekly thereafter. Along with this announcement, the streamer has shared a collection of first-look photos and the season’s debut teaser, providing fans with an exciting preview of what lies ahead for Dwight and his crew.
The teaser emphasizes the show’s signature mix of grit and dark humor, featuring Dwight being pursued by a police car before retaliating against his followers. “It’s a dirty business,” Stallone’s Dwight remarks in the footage. The trailer also hints at a Molotov cocktail thrown into a vehicle and a stabbing by Frank Grillo’s Bill Bevilaqua, setting an appropriately intense tone for the upcoming season.
According to the official synopsis, Season 4 follows Dwight as he strives to legitimize his expanding empire while safeguarding the crew that helped him build it. He faces pressure from corrupt politicians, new dangerous enemies, and what Paramount describes as a devastating personal loss. This combination of challenges pulls him back toward the street instincts he thought he had left behind, turning Tulsa into a new battleground.
The synopsis indicates that every hard-won victory this season comes with tougher realizations about loyalty, leadership, and the price of ambition, positioning Dwight as someone who must confront the repercussions of his choices while attempting to establish something legitimate.

Stallone leads the returning cast as Dwight Manfredi, joined by Martin Starr, Jay Will, Vincent Piazza, Annabella Sciorra, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Frank Grillo, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, James Russo, Kevin Pollak, and Neal McDonough. Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany are also set to return for the new season.
Joining the cast as a new series regular is Gretchen Mol, known for her role on ‘Boardwalk Empire.’ Behind the scenes, original showrunner Terence Winter returns as head writer and executive producer, taking back creative control after Season 3 showrunner Dave Erickson left the series. Taylor Sheridan and Stallone continue to serve as executive producers alongside David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Thomas Kelly, and Keith Cox.
While a fifth season hasn’t been officially confirmed, reports suggest that a Season 5 writers’ room has already opened, with the show potentially looking to film in New York instead of its usual Atlanta production base. The franchise is also expanding with the upcoming spinoff ‘Frisco King,’ featuring Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Russell Lee Washington Jr. from ‘Tulsa King.’
With all three previous seasons available on Paramount+ and a premiere date now set, fans have ample time to catch up before Dwight’s next chapter unfolds.
