Few action thrillers have garnered such a dedicated fanbase in a short span as ‘The Terminal List.’ Since its premiere in 2022, the series has chronicled Navy SEAL Commander James Reece’s harrowing journey of survival and vengeance, establishing Chris Pratt as the face of one of Prime Video’s most successful original series.

Fans eager to see Reece’s saga continue have faced a long wait. Season one concluded with many unresolved threads, and in the interim, viewers have enjoyed the spinoff series ‘The Terminal List: Dark Wolf,’ all while anticipating news about the flagship show’s return.

That wait is finally over. Prime Video has announced that ‘The Terminal List’ Season 2 will debut on October 21, 2026, with all eight episodes available for binge-watching at once.

The announcement was made during Amazon’s Upfronts presentation, where Chris Pratt hinted at the new season’s expanded scope. “This is bigger, it’s more intense and ambitious than anything we did in the first season,” Pratt stated at the event, as reported by Deadline.

Season 2 adapts ‘True Believer,’ the second novel in Jack Carr’s bestselling series, broadening the narrative beyond the psychological revenge thriller that characterized the first season. According to Prime Video’s official synopsis, Reece’s new mission evolves into a globe-trotting espionage thriller that spans the Indian Ocean, Southern and Northern Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

The stakes are significantly higher this season, as Reece’s journey leads him to uncover a vast conspiracy that stretches from Moscow to Langley, intricately linked to his family history. This adds a personal dimension to the expanded global narrative.

Pratt reprises his role as James Reece, joined by a cast that includes Tom Hopper as Raife Hastings, Constance Wu as Katie Buranek, Dar Salim as Mohammed Farooq, and Luke Hemsworth as Jules Landry. The season also introduces Gabriel Luna, Costa Ronin, Olga Kurylenko, Yul Vazquez, Arnold Vosloo, and Shiraz Tzarfati.

Behind the scenes, Pratt serves as an executive producer through Indivisible Productions, alongside Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick of Hill District Media, along with author Jack Carr, former Army Ranger Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw. David DiGilio returns as showrunner, writer, and executive producer, continuing to shape the franchise’s grounded, research-driven military action.

Along with the October premiere date, Prime Video has also unveiled the first official images from the new season, providing fans with a glimpse into Reece’s next chapter nearly five years after the original series captivated audiences worldwide. As anticipation builds for the fall, ‘The Terminal List’ is set to be one of Prime Video’s standout action releases of the year.

With the premiere date confirmed and new details revealed, the countdown to Reece’s return is officially on.
