Camila Mendes Turns Heads at ‘Masters of the Universe’ Berlin Premiere
Camila Mendes made a striking impression on the red carpet at the ‘Masters of the Universe’ premiere in Berlin, showcasing a bold white ensemble that quickly became one of the most discussed fashion highlights of the event.
The actress, known for her role as Teela in the upcoming fantasy film, dazzled in a leopard-print dress featuring black, brown, and tan hues, an asymmetrical one-shoulder design, and a ruffled, draped neckline. The fitted silhouette, complete with corset-style detailing, accentuated her figure beautifully.
To complement her outfit, Mendes opted for a minimalist silver choker, wide metallic cuff bracelets on both wrists, and small silver hoop earrings, creating a sleek, modern metallic theme throughout her look.
Images from the event quickly circulated online, with fans reacting enthusiastically to the ‘Riverdale’ star’s stunning transformation for the film adaptation.
The premiere comes as anticipation builds for ‘Masters of the Universe’, which is scheduled to hit theaters on June 5. This film is inspired by the classic Mattel franchise and marks the second live-action adaptation following the 1987 movie.
This new iteration features Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam, also known as He-Man, while Mendes portrays Teela, one of Eternia’s fiercest warriors and closest allies to the protagonist. The cast also includes Jared Leto as Skeletor, alongside Alison Brie, Idris Elba, Morena Baccarin, Kristen Wiig, and James Purefoy.
Directed by Travis Knight, the film follows Prince Adam as he returns to Eternia after a long absence, only to find the planet under Skeletor’s rule. He must embrace his destiny as He-Man and fight to reclaim his world.
The project has experienced a lengthy development journey over the years, with earlier versions planned at Sony and Netflix before Amazon MGM Studios ultimately took over production. Various actors and directors were attached at different stages before the current version finally came to fruition.
Filming took place in London during the first half of 2025, and the movie had its official premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre earlier this month, ahead of its wider release next week.
At the Berlin premiere, Mendes emerged as one of the evening’s standout figures, thanks to her fashion choice and her expanding role in the franchise. Fans online praised her red carpet appearance and her transformation into Teela, especially after recent trailers showcased the character in action.
With the film’s release just days away, Mendes’ appearance at the premiere has only heightened excitement surrounding the fantasy reboot and its cast.
