‘From’ Stars Share Their Ideal Ending for Final Season Following Season 4 Twist
With just one season remaining, the stars of ‘From’ have expressed their hopes for how the enigmatic horror series should conclude.
Season 4 delivered some of the most emotional and perplexing moments yet, particularly for Henry Kavanaugh (Robert Joy) and his son Victor (Scott McCord). Henry was led to believe that his reality was distorted and that killing Victor was his only escape. Unfortunately, his plan backfired, leaving Victor heartbroken and furious upon realizing his father had betrayed him.
The finale also unveiled a more significant threat. The Man in Yellow, who had been concealing his true identity, emerged as a formidable adversary to the Boy in White. With the truth finally surfacing, the final season is set to address some of the most pressing questions surrounding the peculiar town and the forces that govern it.
In an interview with ScreenRant, actors Robert Joy and Scott McCord shared their aspirations for the series’ concluding chapter. Both actors desire an ending that satisfies fans, with the malevolent forces ultimately defeated and the trapped residents finding their way back home.
Joy expressed his wish to see the enigmatic villain face repercussions for the chaos she has caused throughout the series. “I want to know if Sophia, and therefore the Man in Yellow, gets a comeuppance. I want to see her defeated, and consequently him defeated. She’s been so nefarious! I want a comeuppance there.”
McCord echoed this sentiment, hoping the final season will bring closure to the cycle that has ensnared the characters for so long. Above all, he wishes to see the residents escape and return to their normal lives.

“Yeah, I hope the reveal of the warring entities in the finale means that the cycle ends. Obviously, I want to see a happy ending. I want everybody to go home. It’d be nice if everybody could go home, and we cut to Victor and Henry having a barbecue with Ethan.”
Such a peaceful conclusion would hold special significance for Victor and Henry after all they have endured. Their relationship has been one of the show’s most poignant aspects, but the events of Season 4 created a significant rift between them. For their bond to heal, Henry must come to terms with the past and reconnect with the son he almost lost.
However, achieving that happy ending will be a challenge. The residents are now more vulnerable than ever after losing some of the protections that helped them survive. The absence of crucial defenses suggests that the final season could be the most perilous yet.
Victor is likely to play a pivotal role in the conclusion. As someone who has survived the previous cycle and possesses a unique connection with the Boy in White, he may hold the key to uncovering the town’s secrets and finding a way out.
After years filled with mysteries, monsters, and unresolved questions, ‘From’s’ final season has much to address. Based on Joy and McCord’s hopes for their characters, fans can anticipate an ending that not only focuses on vanquishing the enemy but also on granting the characters the peace they have long sought.
