Jaclyn Smith at 80 Reveals Her Simple Beauty Secret
While many celebrities opt for fillers and Botox to maintain a youthful appearance, Jaclyn Smith attributes her glow to something much simpler.
The 80-year-old actress recently attended the 2026 Paley Honors Spring Gala in New York City, celebrating 50 years of the iconic TV series ‘Charlie’s Angels’. At the event, she reunited with former co-star Kate Jackson, who is now 77.
According to Fox News Digital, when asked about her youthful looks at 80, Smith’s response surprised many. It had nothing to do with skincare routines, strict diets, or cosmetic procedures. “Clean living, being loved,” she shared.
Smith expressed her gratitude for her close relationships, saying, “I have the best family in the whole wide world to grow up with. Great husband, two beautiful children, three granddaughters. So, it doesn’t get better than that. It’s all about love, all about family with me.”
Since 1997, Smith has been married to surgeon Brad Allen and shares two children, Gaston and Spencer, with her former husband Anthony B. Richmond.
At the gala, she donned a stylish black blazer paired with patterned trousers, looking elegant as she posed for photos with Jackson. Later, she took to Instagram to share moments from the evening, reflecting on her long association with the beloved series.
“Kate and I were so lucky to attend and accept this on behalf of our Charlie’s Angels family,” she wrote. “Grateful doesn’t begin to encompass how I feel to have been and continue to be a part of that legacy.”
Fans quickly took to social media to react to the reunion, reminiscing about the late Farrah Fawcett, who played Jill Munroe in the original series. Fawcett passed away in 2009 at the age of 62 after a battle with anal cancer.
In a previous interview with PEOPLE, Smith shared heartfelt memories of her dear friend, stating, “Even when her legs were five times their size [from the cancer treatments], she was still the ultimate girlfriend.”
This reunion followed a recent appearance by Smith, Jackson, and Cheryl Ladd at a special 50th anniversary celebration for the show in Los Angeles.
Smith has also been more open about her personal life as she prepares for the release of her upcoming memoir, ‘I Once Knew a Guy Named Charlie’, expected in September.
Speaking with PEOPLE about the book, Smith expressed her desire for fans to see more than just the glamorous persona they recognize from television.
“People have often asked me to share behind-the-scenes stories, and in these pages, you will find plenty,” she said. “But there is another goal I had in writing this book. And that is to finally let others see the girl behind the image.”
