Johnny Depp Looks Unrecognizable on the Set of ‘Day Drinker’

Johnny Depp was recently spotted filming his new action thriller Day Drinker at a port near Barcelona, Spain. The 61-year-old actor looked almost unrecognizable, sporting a salt-and-pepper beard and partially silver hair for his role as Kelly, a bohemian billionaire.

The look was created by make-up artist Zoe Hay and hairstylist Massimo Gattabrusi, who dyed the front of Depp’s brown hair to match his facial hair.

Despite the transformation, Depp kept his personal style on set, wearing his own double-denim outfit, sunglasses, and a colorful scarf. At one point, Depp was seen boarding a motorboat to travel to the vintage yacht Nero, where most of the movie takes place.

Day Drinker is set entirely on the yacht, where Depp’s character Kelly is a mysterious guest who becomes entangled with a criminal figure named Cara Lauzzana, played by Penélope Cruz. Madelyn Cline, known for Outer Banks, stars alongside Depp as Lorna, a private-yacht bartender who forms an unexpected connection with Kelly.

Depp is 34 years older than his co-star, but the two have been seen filming together on set.

Madelyn Cline also kept a low profile while traveling by motorboat. She wore a black hoodie, patterned pants, and white Crocs, with her Beats headphones around her neck. Later, she was seen in a white-collared top and matching robe as part of her bartender uniform.

The crew recently moved from Tenerife to a local port near Barcelona, continuing production while waiting for Penélope Cruz to join the set. Other cast members include Manu Ríos, Arón Piper, Juan Diego Botto, and Anika Boyle.
