Broadcasting companies are already preparing for their upcoming seasons, and in light of that, we’ve received some news about new shows, renewals, as well as cancellations.

The report we have for you now is a positive one, though, as we can confirm that a new comedy series has been given a full-season order at NBC, which is going to make a lot of people happy.

The series in question is The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, and we can confirm that the series will be getting a full season soon.

The series will be a comedy that focuses on Tracy Morgan’s titular character Reggie Dinkins, “a disgraced former football player who is on a mission to rehabilitate his image,” and he will have some help from Arthur Tobin, played by Daniel Radcliffe, an award-winning filmmaker who moves in with Dinkins to make a documentary about his life.

So, the stories of Dinkins and Tobin are going to combine for the mutual benefit – Tobin will get to make another hit project, while Dinkins will get the chance to fix up his public image.

Aside from the two of them, the series will feature Living Single veteran Erika Alexander.

Not much is known aside from what we’ve told you, but we can also confirm that Tina Fey, with whom Morgan has already worked on 30 Rock, will be executive producing the series.

The series doesn’t have a premiere date just yet, but it will premiere sometime during the upcoming television season.
