New Rumors Reveal First Details About ‘The Boys: Mexico’ Spinoff and Its Potential Storylines

New rumors are offering fans an exciting glimpse into the upcoming The Boys: Mexico spinoff series, which is currently in development as part of Amazon’s expanding The Boys universe. This project was initially confirmed in December 2023 and aims to explore a new setting beyond the primary U.S.-based storyline.

According to early production details, the series is being penned by Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. The show is also associated with prominent figures in Latin American cinema, including Gael García Bernal, who is set to star. Diego Luna is reportedly involved as a producer, alongside Bernal, as the project progresses under Amazon Studios and Sony Pictures Television.

As the title indicates, the series is expected to unfold in Mexico, expanding the universe introduced in the original The Boys series. While an official plot has yet to be confirmed, industry insider DanielRPK has shared rumors suggesting that the narrative could take place a few months after the events of the main series.

One of the most intriguing rumored details is the potential return of Soldier Boy, a significant character from the main show. Reports indicate he may be incorporated into the storyline in some capacity, although this has not been officially verified by Amazon or the creators. The same rumor also suggests that the spinoff occurs months after the conclusion of The Boys.

At this point, The Boys: Mexico is still in early development, with many key details, including the full cast list and release timing, marked as “TBA.” However, the involvement of well-known actors and creators has already made this project one of the most anticipated upcoming spinoffs in the franchise.

The original The Boys universe has steadily expanded over the past few years, with Amazon developing multiple interconnected projects. The Boys: Mexico is expected to follow this trend by introducing a new location, fresh characters, and a unique perspective on the same violent superhero world.

For now, all details remain unconfirmed, and the series has not yet begun production. Fans will have to wait for official announcements from Amazon Studios to gain a clearer understanding of how the spinoff will connect to the main storyline and the potential roles of returning characters.
