Takuma Yokota began the Ponkotsu Fūkiin to Skirt Take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi (lit. “The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length”) manga back in 2019 and since then, we’ve gotten 17 volumes as of the time of writing.

The shonen title has been published in the Monthly Shōnen Sirius magazine by Kodansha and we can now announce that the manga will be getting a new format!

Namely, it has been confirmed that the Ponkotsu Fūkiin to Skirt Take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi manga will be getting an anime adaptation soon!

At this moment, not much is known about the adaptation, but we can confirm that Zero-G is going to be studio behind the Ponkotsu Fūkiin to Skirt Take ga Futekisetsu na JK no Hanashi anime series.

Daiji Iwanaga (The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window) will be directing the anime at Zero-G, while Yō Himuro is designing the characters. An official site has also been opened, and this is where the announcement has been made:

The story of the manga centers on a boy from the public morals committee who seems to be very smart, but is generally useless and his daily misadventures with a girl who is seemingly a problem child, but is actually very intelligent and capable.
