Stephen Fry Joins Indie Sports Drama ‘Touché’

Fans of Indian cinema will probably know Parvinder Shergill as an actress, as that has been the focus of her career so far. But, you might not know that she has already directed three short films and that she is now getting ready for a feature film debut as a director.

Along with Leif Johnson, Shergill is co-directing the upcoming indie sports drama Touché, which is coming out soon.

In light of that fact, we are happy to announce that a British acting legend has joined the movie, and we are going to reveal everything you need to know about it here.

The legend in question is Stephen Fry, whom you’ll know from various live-action as well as voice roles. In this movie, according to the data on IMDb, he is going to provide the voice of the narrator in Touché, which is certainly interesting.

The movie, which does not have a release date yet, is an indie sports drama about a “British South Asian woman named Deep seeks to change her life by taking up fencing. Kate, a talented fencer, is reluctant to welcome Deep into the club. Tom, however develops an unlikely friendship with Deep, concealing a personal secret.

The movie will star Shergill as Deep, as well as former Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, Kayleigh-Paige Rees, and Paul Chowdhry. The screenplay was co-written by Shergill and Juggy Sohal.
